FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: space 5 of branch pipe 5 does not contain radial outlet passages and is wedge-shaped over the whole width of an insert. Therewith flow of oil to be discharged increases by 1.6 times resulting in decreasing friction losses and heating of babbitt of bearing ( by 3-5 deg). As the result flow of exhaust oil, which is transferred from bottom insert to outlet of the bearing by the shaft pin, decreases. In addition radial baffle 10 positioned in face sealing chambers 8 decreases friction losses preventing closed-loop flow of exhaust oil and shifting of drain opening 11 in face chambers in the direction of discharging space 5.
