FIELD: investigation and analysis of materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed method involves excitation of elastic longitudinal waves in material perpendicular to plane of sheet, reception of reflected waves in excitation point, measurement of time τ1 of propagation of these waves, excitation of elastic shear waves of two polarizations in same point and in same direction lengthwise and sidewise to rolling, reception of reflected waves in excitation point, measurement of times (τ2 and τ3) of their propagation, determination of parameter of deformed state with allowance for measurement of times (τ1,τ2,τ3) and elastic constants of material and determination of coefficient of normal anisotropy by obtained results from relationship specified in description of invention. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of method.
