FIELD: traction vehicles. SUBSTANCE: D.C. electric motor drive includes operating thyristor 5 placed between commutating reactor 4 and traction motor 1 shunted by back diode 2. Commutating capacitor 7 is charged from source 3 through reactor 9 and blanked thyristor 10. Thyristor 8 switches on simultaneously with switching off of thyristor 10. Thyristor 6 switches on to switch off thyristor 5 and capacitor 7 is recharged as a result of it. EFFECT: simplified design. 1 dwg
