FIELD: conversion equipment used on electric rolling stock. SUBSTANCE: proposed voltage control device has two fully controlled charge thyristors placed in series circuit. Circuit " reactor-second capacitor " is shunted by thyristors connected in parallel opposition. Circuit " first capacitor-reactor- second capacitor " is shunted by re-chargeable fully controlled thyristor. Circuit including thyristors connected in series is connected in parallel opposition to re- chargeable thyristor. Common terminal of these thyristors is linked to common terminal of capacitors of filter connected in series. Free terminal of first capacitor of filter is connected to anode of first re-chargeable thyristor and to plus terminal of power supply source and free terminal of second capacitor of filter is connected to cathode of second re-chargeable thyristor and minus terminal of power supply source. Load is connected to terminals of second capacitor. EFFECT: enhanced functional efficiency of device by way of prolonged flow of charging current with decrease of value of input voltage. 1 dwg
