FIELD: optical and electronic instrument making. SUBSTANCE: the adhesive includes 35-45 wt parts resorcinol diglycidyl ether; 1.75-2.25 wt parts N, N-dimethylbenzylamine hardener; 52-68 wt parts aromatic polyether and 604-776 wt parts dichloroethane. Aromatic polyether is a product of reaction of phenol phthalein dioxydiphenyl sulfone and a mixture of tere- and isophthalic acids, having a molecular weight of 61,000-168,000. The adhesive is prepared as follows: an aromatic polyether is dissolved in dichloroethane, resoincinol diglycidyl ether and N,N-dimethyl benzylamine, the whole mixture is stirred for 3-5 hours until complete dissolution and filtered. The adhesive has a viscosity of 18-23 cst as measured by a viscometer. The adhesive is applied to the surfaces to be glued and dried at 20+-5 C for 1 hr. The adhesive is allowed to solidify at 80 C for 16 hours. EFFECT: improved properties of the adhesive. 3 tbl
