FIELD: application of coatings by electric explosion of foil. SUBSTANCE: arranged between central high voltage electrode 1 and outer high voltage electrode 2 which are installed coaxially in insulation 3 is additional high voltage electrode 4 made in form of ring. Electrodes 1, 2 and 4 are cut in circuit consisting of two discharging circuits. Discharge current from capacitors 6 and 9 flows through additional high voltage electrode 4 to produce above it an additional zone of initial sublimation of foil 8. Capacitor 9 discharging through a length of foil 8 found between high voltage electrodes 2 and 4 and capacitor 6 through a length of foil 8 found between high voltage electrodes 1 and 4 cause simultaneous explosion sublimation of foil on both lengths.
