FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: crank to be checked is set in the top dead center and fixed in this position. Air at a pressure 33± 0,5 MPa0.5 MPa is fed to above-piston space of Diesel cylinder. Webs of the crank to be checked and the reference crank are compared at the same air pressure and deflections caused by flexible deformation are determined. The device comprises gauge 1 for measuring air pressure in Diesel cylinder, pickup 2 for measuring difference between the webs of cranks, intermediate amplifier 3, and recording instrument 4.
