FIELD: industrial waste reprocessing. SUBSTANCE: commercial-grade iron oxide is used to produce termites for aluminothermic welding and abrasive materials (crocus). Abrasive-slurry wastes of bearing-made processes are used as start material. The above material is burnt without using external heat source. For this purpose waste are warmed up at initial stage. Then oxidant (atmospheric air) is supercharged, and flue gas is purified from dust-like oxide particles carried out from burning area. Roasted materials are separated into large and fine fractions of iron oxide. EFFECT: economy, low price, simplicity. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
