FIELD: medicine, particularly, methods for profound investigation into factors of thermal microclimate and development of new methods for their optimization. SUBSTANCE: essence of this method resides in measuring cutaneopulmonary losses in moisture content influenced by solely thermal microclimate and heat-protection quality of garments, determining category of hardness of work performed and corresponding upper permissible level of cutaneopulmonary moisture losses, subtracting it from actual cutaneopulmonary moisture losses, and finally assessing influence of thermal microclimate and heat-protection qualities of garments on human organism based on resultant residue. EFFECT: comprehensive and unbiased evaluation of influence of thermal microclimate and heat-protection properties of garments on human organism at any level of muscular activity, broad range of applications and higher accuracy of assessment of obtained results. 4 tbl
