FIELD: industry of synthetic rubber. SUBSTANCE: method involves polymerization of butadiene-1,3 in the medium of hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of catalytic system consisting of the complex formed by sequence addition of the following substance to the hydrocarbon solvent: butadiene-1,3, lanthanide compound taken from the group involving neodymium, praseodymium compounds or their mixture, tetravalent titanium halogenide taken from the group involving iodochlorotitanium and a mixture of titanium tetrachloride with iodine at the atomic ratio iodine:chlorine from 0:1 to 3:1, and triisobutylaluminium containing at least 30 mole% diisobutylaluminium hydride. Complex is formed at the atomic ratio lanthanide:butadiene-1,3: titanium: aluminium from 1:6:0.75:15 to 1:60:1.1:30, at triisobutylaluminium addition for 5-30 min and complex exposition for at least 1 h.
