FIELD: synthetic rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: claimed process is carried out by polymerization of butadiene or copolymerization with isoprene in hydrocarbon solvent. Catalyst complex is prepared by reacting lanthanide compound with halogen- containing compound of formula: R3-nAIX, wherein n is 1.6- 2.9, and organoaluminium compound which is essentially mixture of trialkyl aluminium dialkyl aluminium hydride and tetraalkyl dialumooxane in the presence of conjugated diene. The resulting polymers have reduced plasticity and cold flow and high physical and mechanical properties of vulcanizates. EFFECT: improved properties of the title compounds. 2 cl, 1 tbl
