AMBENE ETHYL ESTER GLUTAMATE SHOWING ANTIVIRAL ACTIVITY AGAINST INFLUENZA VIRUSES OF SEROTYPE A AND B Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2030393 C1

FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: synthesis is carried out by reaction of ambene ethyl ester with glutamic acid in water medium at boiling. Yield is 98%, m. p. is 179-181 C, empirical formula is C15H22N2O6, toxicity LD50 = 3080 mg/kg. Activity with respect to influenza viruses A and B is by 30 and 7.5-fold more as compared with that of ambene hydrazide glutamate. EFFECT: synthesis of substance of class indicated above showing increased activity. 2 tbl
