FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves reaction of ethylene oxide with monoepoxide of butadiene-1.3 in presence of basic catalyst at 120-150 C. Oxide of butadiene-1.3 is treated in advance with water in presence of anion-exchange resin in the HCO3 form at a mole relation of H2O : oxide of butadiene-1.3: active group of resin -(10-20):1:(0.15-0.30) at 60-80 C with uniform batching of monoepoxide into reaction mass followed by holding reaction mass at this temperature for 40-180 min, separating anionite and steaming out the water. Catalyst is constituted by monoglycolate of alkaline metal, the treated oxide of butadiene-1.3 is reacted with water and propyleneoxide at a mole relation of initial monoepoxide : propylene oxide : monoglycolate of alkaline metal = 1 : (5-25):(0.15-0.50) for 120-600 min followed by oxyethylation at 120-150 C for 180-700 min at a mole relation : source monoepoxide : ethylene oxide : catalyst = 1:(10-55) : (0.15-0.75).
