FIELD: technology of coal-graphite preparing. SUBSTANCE: method involves oxidative treatment of the parent raw in the presence of sulfuric acid, separation of solid product from solution, its drying and thermal treatment. Source of the parent raw: high-ash waste in electrode production containing 60-85% carbon with graphitization degree 40-95%. Recovered charge of graphitization furnace can be used as parent raw.
