FIELD: medicine, cardiosurgery. SUBSTANCE: this heart valve prosthesis includes annular body 1 which houses locking member consisting of two cusps 2 that are capable of turning relative to annular body and each of which has ascending and descending surfaces that face forward and retrograde blood flows, respectively, and side surface is in contact inner surface of annular body and having cusp revolution limiters. Inner surface 3 of annular body 1 makes up surface of body of revolution throughout entire length of its circumference or part thereof in the form of two diametrically opposite portions, for example, side surface of spherical layer with center located on prosthesis central axis. Radius of spherical layer of member of annular body 1 is greater than that of spherical layer of side surfaces of cusps 2. Each cusp 2 has cams 5 disposed on descending surfaces of each cusp which face retrograde blood flow and interacting by their profile portions 7. Portions B of side surfaces of cusps 2 positioned on diametrically opposite sides serve as stops that restrict revolution of one of cusps 2. Distal edge C of each cusp 2 performs function of limiter of reverse revolution of cusps. In first version, cusps 2 revolve about central axis of working prosthesis. EFFECT: higher functional reliability of heart valve prosthesis owing to enlarged area of contact between interacting surfaces of annular body 1 and cusps 2. 4 cl, 3 dwg
