FIELD: medical engineering; cardiosurgery. SUBSTANCE: heart valve prosthesis has body 1, cusps 2 and 3 and cusp turning limiter in form of cams 4 and 5. Circular projection 6 is made on internal surface of body 1, and side surfaces 7 and 8 of cusps 2 and 3 are provided with recesses 9 and 10 which engage projection 6 with formation of clearance. Two circular members 11 and 12 are positioned on both sides of projection 6. They form transition sections 13 and 14. Side surfaces 7 and 8 are made as side surface of ball layer 15 center 16 of which is positioned on central axis 17 of body 1. In addition, clearance between surfaces 18 and 19 of projection 6 and of recesses 9 and 10 facing each other is variable in value. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, reduced thrombogenesis. 2 cl, 5 dwg
