FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: device comprises vertical cylindrical container of nonmagnetic material with loading and discharge pipes, grille from nonmagnetic material installed in the middle of the container and dividing it into two stages, rotor reciprocating along the container axis, ferromagnetic ball-shaped grinding members accommodated in the container stage of larger diameter than that of lower stage, and power supply unit. Installed coaxially outside the container at the levels corresponding to each of its two stages and in a spaced relation are two ferromagnetic reversibly-rotating rings rigidly connected by a shell of nonmagnetic material. Ring slots at the container side accommodate container control windings connected with the power supply unit via an automatic control system. External recesses of the rotor accommodate control windings. The rotor control windings are disposed higher and lower than the container control windings, and are connected with the power supply unit across the switching device. Grate has the form of a spiral one end of which is rigidly fixed on the rotor while the other one is capable of reciprocating in vertical slot on the container wall.
