SUBSTANCE: rational arrangement of infrared heater unit inside a roasting drum with mixing blades reduces specific heat consumption and intensifies heat treatment of granular food products. Moistening unit in the drum enhances the functional capabilities of the device. The device is a rotating perforated drum enclosed in a heat- insulated housing. A unit of infrared heaters with a reflector is installed in the drum on horizontal tubular axle. Said unit is capable of fixed rotation in vertical plane.
