FIELD: nuclear technology. SUBSTANCE: europium with isotopes 151Eu and 153Eu naturally carried in product is used as starting product for manufacture of targets. Europium is transformed into oxides which are meant for manufacture of targets which are assembled on absorption elements and are subjected to radiation in mix of control elements of nuclear reactors till mixtures 152Eu and 154Eu are produced with summary mass content of 2-18%. EFFECT: decreased cost of manufacture of source of gamma radiation as compared with adopted technology of irradiation of target in irradiation channel (more than twofold decrease).
