SUBSTANCE: in order to maintain initial absorption efficiency, to reduce rate of decrease of efficiency, and to improve radiation resistance and heat conductance of absorbing core, loose n,α neutron absorber having volume fraction of 10-50% is introduced in loose n,γ neutron absorber. Used as n,α absorber is boron carbide powder and as n,γ absorber, dysprosium titanate powder or grit (Dy2O3•TiO2), dysprosium hafnate (nDy2O3•mHfO2), or their mixtures.
