FIELD: benefication of mineral resources. SUBSTANCE: pulp with grains of valuable component and gangue is fed to successively joint inlet ribbed section, with ribs being perpendicular to its walls, with at least one additional ribbed section. The flow is accelerated and moved along longitudinal direction along processing zone, where catching coating is made. Steady-state swirls with axis of revolution oriented perpendicular to the direction of flow feed are generated on initial flow portion at its lower bound. Additional section is installed at an angle within 0.5 to 45° to the inlet section with turn to any direction. Ribs of the additional section are turned in the direction just opposite to the turning direction of the section relative to inlet one. As the flow moves along processing zone, the flow is deviated from the direction of its feed in cross direction by acute angle. In so doing, dynamic force is applied to side bounds of the flow, and pressure drop being irregularly along flow length and width relative to its motion in longitudinal direction is created. Concurrently, steady-state swirls are generated at the deviated portion of the flow at its lower bound. Axes of revolutions of the swirls are oriented at an acute angle to those at the initial flow portion, and spiral flow is generated. Recovery of catching capacity of the coating is carried out concurrently with filling up catching coating with grains of valuable component.
