FIELD: determination of mass content of elements in materials and alloys. SUBSTANCE: method includes excitation of radiation spectrum of low- temperature plasma, its photographic registration, measurement of blackenings of element main line in spectrum of radiation of tested sample and blackening of its line of comparison. Formed in the course of analysis is data base containing values of blackening of element lines, blackening of their lines of comparison , element concentration, absolute susceptibility of low-temperature plasma to radiation, and reduced parameter of total density of radiation energy in cloud of low-temperature plasma. Approximate values of element concentration are calculated, which in further calculations are taken as internal standards for each standard, compared are reduced parameters of total density of sample energy and standard and the standard corresponding to tested sample is found.
