FIELD: power producing equipment building. SUBSTANCE: burner includes an accumulating chamber, a union with a duct for feeding a gas to the chamber, a nozzle for feeding the gas to a welding zone with an inlet opening and an outlet opening. Between the accumulating chamber and the outlet opening of the nozzle a cellular partition is arranged, the partition has cells with diameter (0.35-0.5)mm, wall thickness (0.1-0.18)mm and with a length of the partition duct, being variable along radius. Area values of cross sections of a duct of the union and of the accumulating chamber being in mutual relation 0.16-0.20. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of protection of a metal, being melted by an arc, allowing to use such burners for welding with large extension of electrodes upon welding at wind or in narrow deep dressings. 2 cl, 4 dwg
