FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: aluminium-base alloy ingot is heated at contact with filler of the following group: aluminium oxide, silicon carbide, zirconium oxide, diamond, titanium diboride, boron nitride, boron carbide and magnesium-aluminium spinel - up to temperature above aluminium melting point but below of aluminium oxide melting point in air atmosphere for the time that is sufficient for impregnation of required filler part with aluminium oxide. Aluminium-base alloy has metallic components from the group: copper, iron, manganese, nickel, silicon, zinc, magnesium and chrome. Additionally, silicon oxide layer is applied on the ingot. Prepared abrasive grains were mixed with binding agent, and article of required form is shaped or mixed with adhesive and applied on the sheet base.
