FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: coupling member is mounted in the axial space between mutually facing shafts 1 and 2. The member is made up as two axially symmetrical parts which define cylindrical rod 3 enclosed by bushings 4 and 5 made of permanent magnets and mounted from both sides of the stop made of a magnetic material and secured to the rod. The shaped ends of the parts of the rod are received in answered grooves made in the cylindrical sides of shaft 1 and 2 and defined by circumference arcs. The diameter of the circumference is exceeds the length of the coupling member. In operation, when the joint is affected by vibration and the shafts are axially shifted, the spontaneous disconnection of the members is locked by bushings 4 and 5. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
