FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: main and additional cylindrical rods 4 and 3 are mounted in axial space between mutually facing coaxial shafts 1 and 2 to be joined. The shaped ends of shafts 1 and 2 are defined by circumference arcs. The convexities of the arcs point in rods 4 and 3. The right end of rod 3 and left end of rod 4 are defined by a circumference arc that is concentric to the arc of groove of shaft 1. The ends of shafts 1 and 2 are received in the answered grooves of rods 3 and 4. Adjacent arresters 5 and 6 are secured to rod 3 and rod 4. When shafts 1 and 2 are assembled to provide a shift along the axis of rotation, spontaneous disconnection of the rods under the action of vibration is excluded due to locking rotation by way of arresters 5 and 6.
