FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: rod 3 is positioned in axial space between mutually facing shafts 1 and 2 to be joined. The shaped ends of the rod are received in the answered grooves made in the face sides of the shafts and defined by arcs of circumference the diameter of which is equal to the length of the rod. Plate 4 is interposed between shaft 2 and rod 3. The shaped ends of plate 4 are defined by arcs of circumferences of different radii the centers of which are in coincident, shifted in the direction of shaft 2, and positioned in the answered grooves made in wall 3 and in face surface of shaft 2. When the unit is in operation, the plate locks rod 3 and detaches the members due to the arcs of the circumferences are different in radii. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
