FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: cylindric rod 3 is mounted in the axial space between coaxial shafts 1 and 2 to be joined. The shaped ends of the rod are received in answered grooves made in the face sides of the shafts. The ends of rod 3 are defined by circumference arcs in one direction The diameter of the circumference is equal to the length of the rod. Bushings 4 are mounted at the ends of shafts 1 and 2. Each of the bushings is provided with one radial groove that in width is equal to the width of the shaped end of rod 3. Arresters of axial movement of bushing 4 are mounted on rod 3 as wall as shafts 1 and 2. When the joint operates under vibration and shock loads, bushing 4 locks the shaped ends and prevents the shaped ends to be disengaged with the grooved of shafts 1 and 2 as it is not very likely that the radial grooves of bushing 4 is in coincident with the shaped ends of rod 3 in a definite position. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 dwg
