FIELD: instruments. SUBSTANCE: device has illumination source and photodetector which are spaced. In this space the first light-polarizing sheet, two parallel transparent plates, two diaphragms, two sealing gaskets and acoustic insulation chamber are mounted. Place between two parallel transparent plates is filled with liquid crystal which molecules are oriented. Acoustic insulation chamber is mounted on one diaphragm. Spaces under diaphragm are filled with liquid crystal which molecules are not oriented. Parallel transparent plates are partially overlapped. Liquid crystal with oriented molecules is bordered by overlapped parts of transparent plates and by sealing gaskets which are mounted along side surfaces of overlapped parts of transparent plates. Each diaphragm is attached to overlapped part of corresponding transparent plate, borders of sealing gaskets and edges of free surface of another plate. diaphragms are fixed along their perimeter.
