FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: end seal to be tested is attached to the drive shaft. The chamber of medium to be sealed is furnished with a blind cover. An axle is made integral with the blind cover. On the ends the drive shaft has seats. Mounted in a seat on one end are bearings through which it rests on the axle. The other seat is intended for keyed joint to the test bench shaft. Loading device is made in the form of an adjusting nut, spring and axially movable bush. The nut is linked with chamber.
