FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: trough cover is tightly secured to one side of the housing and dummy cover is tightly secured to the other side. The dummy cover is made in block with the axle. The end faces of the driving shaft are provided with sockets. One of the sockets receive bearings through which the shaft bears on the axle. The other socket is used for connection with the shaft of the bench through a key. The outer device is received in the through cover and made up as a control nut, spring connected with the nut, axially movable bushing. The housing, covers, driving shafts and an end face seal to be tested form a chamber of a medium to be sealed wherein and additional end face seal to be tested is received. The driving shaft is provided with rotatable bushing with the flange and circular grooves on its end faces for securing the rotatable rings of the end face seals. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 1 dwg
