FIELD: exhaust gas cleaning. SUBSTANCE: exhaust gas is treated using multi-stage irradiation in electron beam with successive passing through plurality of irradiation areas and non-irradiated areas located between adjacent irradiation areas. NH3 is added post or prior to the irradiation. Gap voltage is within 300 to 3000 kV. Exhaust gas flow rate is within 30 m/s, temperature ranges within dew point and 100 C. Exhaust gas is exposed in any non-irradiated area within 0.01 to 0.5 s. Dust collector is used for solid products of interaction. EFFECT: highly effective cleaning. 7 dwg, 4 tbl
