FIELD: medicine; control of intratissue temperature during radio frequency hyperthermia. SUBSTANCE: medical thermometer comprises a flexible temperature probe with a temperature transmitter in the form of a blind capillary filled with a thermometric medium and installed with a provision for moving in a protective envelope, and an indicating unit which comprises a thermometric medium state transmitter connected with the capillary, a capillary receiver connected with the receiver temperature control unit, a computing device connected with the thermometric medium state transmitter, ad a receiver temperature control unit. The capillary has a constant cross section, the thermometric medium is a dielectric fluid while the state transmitter has the form of a transmitter of the fluid entering from the capillary. The capillary receiver is made as two flat parallel plates divided by straight guide gaskets while the part of the capillary accommodated in the receiver is positioned in the gap in the form of a variable-length loop. The protective envelope on the inactive portion of the probe has an additional thermostating envelope. EFFECT: reduced time of thermometer measuring cycle during measurements of temperature distribution in the investigated object. 5 cl, 1 dwg
