FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: optical thermometric device provides a measurement of temperature by changing the diffraction pattern of light. The device comprises elements of a periodic diffraction microstructure on the substrate. This structure is formed by ion implantation through a surface mask. In this case, an optically transparent polymer is used as the substrate, and the generated diffractive structure contains ionically synthesized metallic nanoparticles dispersed in the near-surface part of the substrate.
EFFECT: increase the sensitivity of the thermometric device.
