FIELD: applied magnetooptics. SUBSTANCE: process can be used in devices of control over light based on magnetooptical Faraday effect. Two successive pulses of current of opposite polarity are fed into four conductors between which switched-over cell is positioned. Switched-over cell sums up magnetic fields formed by each of these conductors and as a result process of rotation of magnetization is realized. In the rest of cells this process either is not started or finished yet. Relaxation of these cells to initial state is accomplished under action of second pulse of current.
