FIELD: benefication of raw material for blast-furnace conversion. SUBSTANCE: method involves heating agglomerate burden, prior to sintering, by gas ionized in plasmatrons, with neutral gas being used as plasma generating gas. Gas temperature is regulated by mixing ionized gas with cold neutral gas. Gas flow rate ratio is maintained within the range of 0.5-6.7, burden heating rate is maintaining within the range of 0,8-2,5 МW/m2. EFFECT: increased efficiency. 1 tbl
