FIELD: railway building. SUBSTANCE: track-packing unit for track-packing machines has four track-packing devices distributed across the machine and transferred crosswise independently of one another at the expense of drives. The devices have carrying frame with instrumentation frames and two track-packing tools installed on the tool frames. The tool frames are installed on the carrying frame so to be transposed on the height. Track- packing tools lie opposite one another in lengthwise direction of the machine and are combined with vibration and deepening drives into the ballast. Each track-packing tool has levers, connected to packing blades being turned by drives about pivot passing along the machine. Internal packing blade adjoining carrying frame in each track-packing device is securely connected to track-packing tool, with adjacent external blade, as related to lengthwise direction of the machine, may be turned between two limiting positions restricted with stops. Otherwise between the first position of the packing, when the external blade is directly adjoining internal packing blade, and the second position. EFFECT: technologically effective process. 6 cl, 6 dwg
