SUBSTANCE: tie-tamping unit has two instrument frames installed for independent displacement in vertical direction by individual servodrives, two eccentric shafts secured in corresponding frames and two pairs of outer and inner tamping tools. Pair of inner tamping tools and one outer tamping tool of second pair are secured on one instrument frame, and second outer tamping tool of second pair is secured on other instrument frame, second outer tamping tool being arranged between eccentric shafts.
