Abstract RU 2044902 C1

FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine has stator 1 with side covers 2 and 3, combustion chambers, cylindric space, and rotor 7 mounted coaxially. Separating plates 5 are received in grooves 4 made in the stator for permitting reciprocation. The rotor is in contact with separating plates 5 and side covers 2 and 3 and provided with alternating gas distributing and two working projections. The tops of the projections has the same radii drawing from the geometric center of rotor 7. Separating plates 5 define working chambers. The angle step of the projections is equal to twice angle step of separating plates 5. The volumes of gas distributing projections and working projections of rotor 7 are significant with respect to the volume of each working chamber. Each projection of rotor 7 almost fully displaces the gas from each working chamber without the contact between the tops of the projections and cylindric surface of the space of stator 1. Inlet and outlet ports are arranged on both sides of the tops of each gas distributing projection. Each cross-piece between the ports coinciding with the tops are confined by the angle which is equal to the central angle between separating plates 5. The working chambers are pressure-tight independently of the magnitude of the space between the tops of the projections of rotor 7 and cylindric surface of the space of stator 1. The cam mechanism (cams 20, rollers 19, and plungers 18) for driving separating plates 5 and bearings of shaft 6 are arranged in two oil baths 32 interconnected through spaces 34 provided in separating plates 5.
