FIELD: burning gases and their mixtures; cryogenic engineering. SUBSTANCE: after preliminary cooling compressed gas enters heat exchanger 13 mounted coaxially relative to vortex pipe 3 located in liquid chamber of cryostat. In heat exchanger 13 gas is cooled to saturated state at partial liquefaction in the course of regenerative heat exchange with cold flow of vortex pipe which is close to axial. Vapor-and-liquid mixture from heat exchanger 13 enters nozzle tangential inlet 7 where it expands forming subcooled near-axial flow escaping through orifice 9 and peripheral two-phase flow in power separation chamber 8; peripheral two-phase flow escapes through throttle 12. Subcooled near-axial flow, peripheral vapor flow and liquid phase flow for mixing with liquefied gas contained in cryostat. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 2 dwg
