FIELD: analytical chemistry. SUBSTANCE: concentration is carried out in mercury-alkaline electrode with silver backing for 120 ± 10 s at potential E 0.50-0.55 V. Registration of cathode voltammetric curves is carried out at the rate of potential scan 30 5 mV/s. Concentration is measured by cathode peak height from -0.80 to -1.00 V (relative saturated c. e.). Method is used for assay of medicinal preparations, namely 3-carboethoxyamino-10-(3-diethylaminopropionyl)-phenothiazine hydrochloride (aethocizine). EFFECT: improved method of determination.
