SUBSTANCE: the method of controlling a butyl rubber synthesis process in an inert solvent in a reactor equipped with a stirrer comprises determining the relationship between mooney viscosity and the temperature differential between the upper and lower reaction zones and regulating the intensity of stirring of the reaction mixture depending on the deviation of the current temperature differential from the present value.
