FIELD: optical and mechanical production. SUBSTANCE: optical details to be protected against biodeterioration are first treated with a solution and then subjected to heat treatment. The solution contains polydimethyl(vinyl)= methyl-α, w-dixydroxysiloxane and a dissolver. The solution further contains b-(triethylstannylthio)ethyltriethoxysilane in the mass ratio (2-4):(0.8-1). The heat treatment is carried out at 170-180 C for 2-2.5 hours. EFFECT: improved quality of protection. 1 tbl
