FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: "strong" SO2-gases were used for hydrogen sulfide producing followed its use for reduction of "weak" SO2-containing gases in liquid phase. Reduction is carried out by cyclic operation at three regimes created by successive change of the ratio H2S:SO2 in feeding gases: 0.4-0.6; 0.9-1.1; 2-4, and its averaged meaning for all cycle is near 2.
