FIELD: foundry. SUBSTANCE: method involves layer-by-layer applying of bulk coating to inner surface of ingot mold, with thickness of each layer being 0.4-0.7 mm and with ingot mold and coating applying device rotating in one direction. EFFECT: improved quality of coating having smooth surface free of nodules and increased efficiency by reduced allowance for machining of ingots and increased economy.
