FIELD: production of refractory linings used in metallurgy for lining of steel pouring ladles. SUBSTANCE: method involves roasting of pitch-bound blocks laid in refractory lining by high-temperature flare and simultaneously blasting lining with carbon-bearing gas followed by inert gas blasting upon termination of roasting process. EFFECT: improved operating parameters.
