FIELD: materials handling. SUBSTANCE: load-lifting device has boom portion with head on which load frip is mounted, and support with lifting mechanism. Support, head and links are of round section and they form multi-link structure and fork-shaped connection with axles of rotation arranged in vertical plane. Mounted on head is load-lifting mechanism consisting of two drums made integral with shaft and differing in diameters. Common wall of drums is essentially toothed ratchet wheel engaging with spring-loaded pawl arranged in longitudinal slot of head. Use of load-lifting device in confined spaces makes it possible to move load over any trajectory, and by-pass obstacles in zone of operation. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 dwg
