FIELD: electrolytic production, in particular, self-calcinable anodes with top current feeding. SUBSTANCE: method involves assembling rectangular cells defined by metal current leading walls; mounting current feeding pins in each cell in one plane; charging anode mass into each cell, where it is melted by heat issued by anode inner source; repositioning all pins positioned in one cell to higher level in a single stage. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced usage of pitch, decreased outburst of coke gas into environment. 2 dwg
