FIELD: railroad transport. SUBSTANCE: rail branch consists of separate successively located lengths conjugated with one another in zones of joints by means of bolts. Each rail length consists of two parts 1 and 2 displaced to each other in longitudinal direction to form lap joints with parts of adjacent lengths. Each 1 or 2 consists of head 3 or 4, web 5 or 6, and foot 7 or 8. Part 2 of each length has projections 9 on head and projections 10 on foot. Projections 9 and 10 resting, respectively, on lower surface 11 of head 3 and upper surface 12 of foot of length part 1. Bolt holes 13 and 14 are located in the middle part of webs 5 and 6 of parts 1 and 2 of length with spacing multiple to spacing of ties of underrail base. Projection 9 of part 2 of length is conjugated with lower surface 11 of head 3 of part 1 across radius R. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 4 dwg
