FIELD: environmental control. SUBSTANCE: method for removal of oil products contaminating water reservoir surface includes air supply to under water level and provision of barrier for floating pollutants, and their removal by burning. Novelty consists in provision of barrier in form of fireproof floating barriers. Fire resistance of floating barriers is ensured by coating them with hydrophilic porous material with high capillary lifting of moisture. Pollutants are located by floating barriers into spot. Supplied to under layer of pollutants is gas medium containing oxygen by bubbling through pollutants and saturating pollutants with oxygen to prevent pollution of atmosphere with large amount of carbon black when burning oil pollutants on water surface.
